Using this site
Mostly about the audit, because it is the only thing here that produces a number about your business.
What the audit's number is
It is an estimate, calculated from the answers you type in, using assumptions that are printed on the results page beside each line. Every step of the arithmetic is shown precisely so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
It is deliberately conservative. Overlapping losses are discounted rather than added together, and the total is capped so that it can never exceed 60% of what your own answers say you currently close — if the raw figure comes out higher, the results page says so and shows the capped number instead.
What it is not
It is not a promise, a forecast, a valuation, or financial advice. It does not know your market, your competitors, your margins or your costs. Two businesses with identical answers can have very different real numbers.
Nothing on this site is a guarantee of results, and we do not offer one. Please do not make a financial decision on the basis of the estimate alone.
Accuracy in, accuracy out
The audit works on what you enter. If you guess at your enquiry volume or what a customer is worth, the result is a guess too. That is not a disclaimer so much as a suggestion: it is worth two minutes with your actual numbers.
Engagements
Nothing on this site is a contract or a binding offer. Scope, price and terms for any actual work are agreed in writing beforehand, and the written agreement takes precedence over anything here.
